On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, Rotary Club Ropar Central organized an inter-Rotaract Club Essay Writing Competition on the theme "The Importance of Skill Development in Nation Building." A total of 132 students from four Rotaract Clubs—IET Bhaddal, RIEIT Ropar, COP BELA, and Bela College—participated enthusiastically in the competition. The event aimed to encourage students to express their views on the role of skills in personal growth and national development. Winners were felicitated with certificates and awards during the club's main function. Club President Rtn. Dr. Shailesh Sharma appreciated the participants and emphasized the importance of skill development in shaping a self-reliant and progressive nation.
